Compete in an international tournament with several junior classes and a high-level Men's and Women's singles. Over 3825€ in total prize money across classes!

2. Meet & Greet
Say hello to Otto, Emil and Miikka in the Pongfinity hall! There will be a meet&greet event on both Saturday and Sunday where you will be able to take pictures and hang out with the guys!

3. Pongfinity challenge
Participate in a Pongfinity Video shoot together with all tournament participants on Saturday evening 9th of May.

Pongfinity Ranking Cup
Open for everyone!
This is a new class format in the Pongfinity Cup tournament, open for anyone to participate in and guaranteeing 6 matches against players your level. Players will be divided into categories based on your level and everyone will play 2 groups of 4 players determining your final position in your category
Each category will have trophies and prizes for the top 3
Playing Classes
There will be 11 playing classes in total.
Example: To participate in Boys' / Girls' U19, the player must be born in year 2007 or later.
Girls can participate in Boys' classes too!
Each player can participate in maximum 2 classes per day/ 1 class per session.
Playing Format (regular classes)
All matches at Pongfinity Cup will be played best-of-five games.
Each class will start with a group stage. We aim to have 4 players in each group. Two players will proceed to the knock-out stage, while the rest players will proceed to the consolation stage. The knock-out and consolation stages ensure at least one additional match to every player.
(Men's single's class does not have consolation)
Playing Format (Ranking cup)
Based on ranking, players will be divided into categories containing 16 players each. The top category will consist of the 16 highest ranked players and the second highest consists of players ranked from 17-32 and so on...
In each category, the 16 players will be divided into 4 groups of 4. After the group stage, group winners will form a new group with the other group winners of their ranking category. players placed 2nd in their group will form a group with others placed 2nd, and so on...
The second group stage will determine your final position in your category. Each category plays for every position and every player is guaranteed 6 matches. There will be prizes for the top 3 of every category.
Players will be allocated into the most suitable ranking category based on their country's ranking points to get the most even match ups. We will do our best to make sure each player is in an appropriate category
Preliminary Schedule
In the picture you will see the preliminary schedule for the tournament.
The exact scheduling for each playing class will be made public after we have received the registrations.
Session 2 on Sunday is scheduled to finish around 18:00
All players participating in the tournament can take part in the Pongfinity challenge.
Players can only enter 1 class per session
Prizes
The finalists and semi-finalists of each class will receive a money-prize and a cup trophy. The total prize money for the tournament is 3450€.
The top 3 in the Pongfinity ranking cup category will get a prizes and the winner of each category will Get to play a match against Pongfintiy
Participation Fees
The participation fee is based on the playing classes.
Attending the tournament as a coach, parent and spectator is free of charge
Competition Shirt
The official Pure Waste competition shirt is made from 100% recycled fibers. It is a unisex model and is sold using men's measurements; women should choose one size smaller than usual.
The t-shirt is made from recycled by-product cotton and recycled plastic bottles and manufactured responsibly in Pure Waste’s factory.
The shirt can be bought only from the registration form prior to the tournament for a price of 25€. We will make the t-shirts based on demand, so that there won't be left over any extra (unbought) shirts after the tournament.

The whole program of Pongfinity Cup will take place in:
Ruskeasuon Palloiluhalli, Ratsastie 10, 00280 Helsinki, Finland.
Organizer
The event is organized by Finnish table tennis club Mejlans Bollförening (MBF) and Pongfinity.
Registration
Registrations to Pongfinity Cup 2026 close on 25 April 2026.
The tournament is limited to a maximum amount of players.
Registrations will be approved in the order that the participation fees have been paid. If there are more registrations, the subsequent registrants will be placed in a queue.
The organizers reserve the right to constrain the number of participants per class in case of overbooking or do other arrangements if there are insufficient number of participants in a class.

To be eligible to enter, you need to be registered at a club. If you don't belong to any club you can apply for a temporary licence through us.

Confirmed registrations
Players that have registered and paid their participation fee are confirmed to play at Pongfinity Cup 2026. Below you will find an up-to-date list of successful registrations. After you have paid your registration, please make sure that you see your name in the list and that you have entered the correct classes.
The ranking of the players will be determined by their most actual ranking points on 25th of April 2026. The draw will be made during the week before the tournament

Cancellation Policy
Contact info@pongfinitycup.fi to cancel your entry
Cancellations have to be submitted latest 1 month before the tournament to be eligible for a full refund (April 9th 2026)
Cancellations may also be made after this date and refunds may be issued with good reason
Permissions policy
The tournament will be livestreamed and filmed. Players might be featured on Pongfinity’s Youtube channels and other social medias.
By participating/spectating in the tournament you agree that you might be seen in a video or live-stream from the tournament, uploaded on Pongfinity’s social media channels.
By entering, you agree that upon registration your name will be shown in the list of participants
Equipment
Matches will be played on Stiga table tennis tables.
Matches will be played with Stiga optimum 3-star balls
Draw
The tournament draw will be made on the 5 May and published during the week prior to the tournament.
It will be based on the ratings of the Finnish Table Tennis Association of 25 April 2026.
